THE PROJECT
The Foundation launched a project "Panar self-sustaining", by expanding and upgrading its farm. The kids are directly involved in this project and the foundation believes that kids will benefit by being in contact with the nature. Also, the farm serves as a fundamental support to cover a part of the monthly expenses like food, education, clothes...

MY EXPERIENCE
I have been working with this community for the past two weeks. I will stay here for another month and I have decided to create this blog in order to raise money. Money collected will go to the expansion of the farm and the purchase of food, clothing, shoes and medicine for the kids.
I am asking family and friends if they can help me on this project. Just a small donation can make a huge difference for the community and its kids. If you want to donate send me an email at albertolecce@libero.it

VOLUNTEERING
The foundation is always looking for volunteers. No main skills are required, just few Spanish words and a bit of patience to deal with kids.
What is certain, is that the experience is beneficial, not only to those you work with, but also to yourself.
Getting to know the local community, learning a local language, local customs and social life and comparing the differences with your own culture, means that you do not just get a superficial glance, but you can actually develop a real insight into the country. And, of course, there is the opportunity to meet other people and make friends.
You can contact _____________________ for your volunteer inquiry.

IT COULD BE AS WELL BE US
We could as well have been born in a small barrio with a lack of proper education, supplies, and no hopes. We were just lucky. And in some way we are due to help those who can't make it on their own.
